Here are my Fuch's after a good wash and wax with sonax wheel cleaner (that's the reason for the greenish hue on the first picture) and a wheel wax. My '86 coupe is white gold metallic and the wheels are color matched to the exterior. I somewhat like the black center on your's given your car's exterior color but if you want it to look like mine just order a new set of wheel caps and have it painted rather than change the original set.

Thank you for all the info, I have a set of these wheels that came on my 1977 (not original) that I will be selling soon. I wouldn't paint the wheels black as you will loose a lot of value and they look great. Much of the value of these cars in the originality, just look at the value of early 911's now.
