if a Bosch CD unit use stock factory plug gap as per its design

the CIS should run BPR7ES or BPR8ES clean imho.

ps: NGK

The factory manual says .022 for a plug gap. What about that?

.022 yep.

Forget about the Bosch copper plugs. I bought everyone left in the western hemisphere and that was only seven of 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at NGK.

Thanks for the suggestions. Anything different if Permatune replaces the Bosch unit?

i never followed what gap Permatune can tolerate so i just set them to "76/77 Tehnical Specifications" booklet Bosch specs of .028" as some 1977 came with factory old model Permatunes like mine

and according to a local pope the ideal gap for our combustion chambers etc is .040" which i use now with the MSD

some members use larger than stock gaps with Bosch and Permatunes
