Help needed with RPM input to Zeitonix datalogger
|
You may have to change the wave form of the signal for the zeitronix..
I forgot whether it wants to see a square or sine wave.. Give me some time to clear the cobwebs.. I just returned from 2 weeks in China and am severely jet lagged |
Hi Tim. are you back on track after your trip. If you have any info on this, I would be happy if you would share.
Cheers |
Did this get resolved? Am thinking about the Zeitronix equipment but would like to avoid this problem if possible! THank you, Jim
|
Yes I did. I posted to the post refered in the beginning of this thread.
Every time I tried the RPM signal to the tach, I poped out the connector on the tach with the purple/black wire and connected it to the Zeitronix, and could never get a signal. Just before I gave up, I made a three-way splice, so that I could connect the tach AND the Zeitronix at the same time. Then i t worked. Stangest thing, but I'm happy |
Many thanks. I'm going to order the Zeitronix today! Have a nice holiday.

Glad to be of help.
