You may have to change the wave form of the signal for the zeitronix..

I forgot whether it wants to see a square or sine wave..

Give me some time to clear the cobwebs.. I just returned from 2 weeks in China and am severely jet lagged

Did this get resolved? Am thinking about the Zeitronix equipment but would like to avoid this problem if possible! THank you, Jim

Yes I did. I posted to the post refered in the beginning of this thread.

Every time I tried the RPM signal to the tach, I poped out the connector on the tach with the purple/black wire and connected it to the Zeitronix, and could never get a signal. Just before I gave up, I made a three-way splice, so that I could connect the tach AND the Zeitronix at the same time. Then i t worked. Stangest thing, but I'm happy
