I am going to remove the window in order to replace the window frame that I removed like a dumb a s killing a nest of ants, I am thinking of paying a pro to get it done the rubber looks fresh without cracks can you reuse the rubber or should I order a new one?
How difficult is this job? Thanks for any and all help. GB83SC |

It's not too bad of a job. Take off the trim piece under the window and start lifting the rubber lip (from the inside) over the window frame lip on the car. Go all the way around the window and the window will come out. Put the Alu trim back on the rubber and install the whole unit with the rope method. Use soap for lube.

Hello
The upright lip has a little pin that attaches the lower end to the body. It is in the edge of that triangle showing down and can be seen if you flaten the door seal. Grüsse |
