my '76 carrera 3.0 just came out from a big work : oil tensionner, valves adjustment, oil change, new oil/gas filters, new rotor/cap/points/plugs, and all adjustments required... and it works worse than before
![]() The engine was washed by the mechanic with a Karcher, and I assume, it can be a part of the issue... when you put some drying spray on it, it runs better. Is there an other clue? Can the new distribution be responsible for it? wet ignition box? wires (the wire between the cap and the coil was almost burned: is it due to a bad spark?)? |

My suggestion is take it back to the wrench that did the work and ask them to fix what they caused. With all the work you had done, it could be one of many things.
