What can I use to clean my Fuchs again?

The car has been in storage a while. Battery is dead, corrosion from it is into the compartment, brake is soft and the polished lips on the Fuchs have dots of rust. First things first, beautify the car again.

So, what can I use to get the spots off the Fuchs and get them shiny again?

Indeed, not a heavy coating and you can wipe a considrable amount off afterwards and be amazed at what it does.....

I used the Vaseline yesterday. A dab goes a long way. Cotton balls were helpful. Results were amazing.

Vaseline even for Fuch's that are color matched to exterior paint. I don't think so.

The vaseline can go on anodized lips.

For polished Fuchs, you can use Mothers Aluminum Polish, Flitz or any other metal polish.

IMHO your priorities are skewed.... get that battery out and stop the corrosion

If spots are not too deep, a nice cleaner wax would work too...I used the light green Zymol on my Fuchs and it worked great!

Rust on an aluminum rim?

Not as good as the vaseline but also functional is WD-40 sprayed on a paper towel.
