Source for Fuchs

Hi everyone,

Like many I'm sure, I'm having a difficult time finding rear Fuchs. I've exhausted just about every source I know of trying to locate a set of 16X8 (911 offset) fuchs, but having no luck.

Just wondering if you guys know anywhere else I may be able to find a set.

Thanks,

Danny

I bought all of my Fuchs here on the used parts board. Of course, I was looking for 6x15 and 7x15, not the desirable ones you're looking for...

I have a set of factory 16x7 and 16X9's for sale in the Pelican Used Parts Classifieds, $1500 shipped. These came on my '89 turbolook cabriolet.

7's and 9's will fit a narrow body SC or Carrera as long as the ride height isn't unusually low.

These wheels were properly chromed when new by Wheel Enhancement/Robert W. Wood and are in excellent shape. Here's the link and some pics:

FS: 16x7 and 16x9 factory Fuchs wheels

Oh, I need some too.

I have to wait until the patient is out from the doctor's office so I know how much money I have left.

You can order brand new Fuchs from Porsche. I used Suncoast (I think) last time.

The 8's can be hard to find in non-chrome, good condition pairs.

But they are out there. Just depends on how much cash you want to part with.

I'm looking for a set as well. I have a guy here in LA who has a set for sale, but they were rough being chromed and quite a bit of corrosion from a 'fix-a-flat' fiasco (according to Harveys brief assesment of the picture I posted on a thread). I passed because of the unknown condition of the wheel once the chrome and corrosion has been removed. If your interested PM me and I'll pass along his info.

I'm considering trading or selling my 16x6 & 7s for a clean pair of 8s if I ever find a willing source...

If I had unlimited cash I'd just buy a pair from Pelican. Wheel enhancement would be second choice.

Good luck to you.

Thanks 911Freak, but I am only interested in OE finish as well, I wouldn't even mind polished lips.

As much it would be nice to, I can't justify spending that kind of money on a brand new set. Oh well, guess the hunt goes on!

Thanks,

Danny
