New shift coupler bushings left by PO - are red, oval hole style - use or not?
Have searched and have some knowledge of why Porsche went with the oval style shift coupler bushes, but PO left these for me and am about to install. You help appreciated!
1) Am I going to be unhappy installing this set - am I building in slop tho. the items are new? 2) ID: These are red, with oval holes - anyone know who might have made these? Weltmeister? 2) Very handy, so pulling coupler no problem BUT - is this job so much a PITA that I am better off ordering tighter, round style bushings and just getting in there once? Front ball cup bush and rod bush in fine shape, so good there. Many thanks!

OEM oval bushing........
I had purchased from Pelican long long time ago oval shaped linkage bushings. Many people including myself prefer the tight round hole linkage bushings for the linkage. The circular tight bushing offers less play and sloppines. Just my two-cents.

I do note that the bushings offered by our fine host are round, aftermarket - no sign of the Porsche oval style.
In for a penny; in for a pound. I will install these and see what happens. I am lured by the Wevo/Stromski items...if this fails I will just go that route.
