Details on your 911sc SLEEPER!
Good Evening Pelicans-
I have a friend, 30 years in the saddle with aircooled 911's, ofter me a twin plugged 3.5 or a 3.4 turbro with K-27 and various go fast parts, for a bolt in transport donor for my US spec 1980sc. The idea of a stock looking sc thats has big balls appeals to me, if you have any build information/photos to share I would be very grateful. Regards- JS |

Go for it. You will want some serious water-methanol injection to cool the intake charge for power, efficiency, and longevity/detonation resistance. Otherwise you will need a large intercooler which will necessitate a Turbo tail or larger.
Might want to check over in the Turbo forum. There are a few there who have Turbocharged SC's.

Thank you for your input, I am also very interested in normally aspirated projects including 3.6 conversions.
I know that the often the cost is above and beyond that of stepping in the 993 3.6 Vario or similar. I have a habit of doing things the hard way!.. JS |
