Want to get rid of my fender antenna

I want to get rid of my fender mounted antenna on my 79SC. any suggestions

There is a fender plug available.

What ae you going to do for radio reception?

I am not sure of what I will do. Maybe get a windshield with the antenna in it or a whip hidden in the front

I've never extended my fender-mount antenna, don't have a key for it..

Sometimes my ipod needs a reboot and I change source to the radio. Works fine. I'd be inclined to leave the antenna in the fender, move it down a bit lower and blank the hole, if it bothers you.

I took mine out and plugged the hole with a painted plug from the side of the door edge. Open the door and you will see what I mean.

My antanna is in my windscreen, most people don't have a clue it's there and it has great reception as well
