where do I find tire 185x70x15 & 215x60x15???

Which manufacturer makes these tires?,
my car originaly came with Michelins, but they are now NLA,
I tought the Pirelli classics XWX would be an alternative but they don't make the 215x60x15
looking for the correct profile to finish off my RS,
I hear Fulda make them but cannot locate any:
stock for the 1973 RS:
6s & 7s is
185x70x15 & 215x60x15
and for the 7s and 8s
215x60x15 & 235x55x15

and here is a useful table I came accross

185x70x15=641mm
195x65x15=635mm
205x60x15=627mm
205x55x15=607mm
205x50x15=587mm

215x60x15=639mm
225x55x15=629mm
235x55x15=639mm
225x50x15=607mm

(This is where Tire Rack will get them.)

Try Yokohama Avs Es100.

They are inexpensive, and great for track days and last forever on the street.

I ran them on a 72 911 both on dry track and in the rain and was extremely happy with them. I pushed them hard and they gave very good feedback at the limit. 5 years later they are still being used on the street with good tread.

(from the reviews the MR2 guys don't seem to like them but based on my experience I have no idea what they are complaining about. They work extremely well on an early 911).

thanks all but so far no one has the magic
185x70x15 and the 215x60x15 in the same tire and speed rating required,
I think Fulda carry them in the correct size but cannot find a supplier who has them...........

Look at 185/65 and 205/60, they are 10mm shorter front and 6mm shorter rear.

please understand I am not looking for a solution as for tires,
but the car needs to be correct for top concours and anything other than correct tire sizes will not be ok,
so I really do need a source for
185x70x15 and 215x65x15 as per the factory specification for a 1973 Carrera RS with 6s and 7s,
again thank you for all your suggestions but I need to find the correct size tires

Try the FALKEN ZIEX ZE-912.
I have them with 215/60-15 at the back and 195/65-15 in front.

thank you again all your help and suggestions
but I am not looking for what can and will fit,
I already have that on 2 different sets of wheels,
I have 6s and 7s with 185x65x15 front and 215x65x15
and
215x65x15 front and 235x55x15 for the 7s and 8s

195x65x15 is not correct

I need the 185x70x15 front
and 215x65x15 rear
both the same manufacturer, tread patern and speed rating appropriate for
a 167 mph car
so unfortunately nothing else will do but the configuration I am looking for,
If it were easy I would not be asking you guys........

I have a lead that Fulda in germany have what I need but cannot find a supplier
for them yet...........

they even check to make sure the air in the tires comes from the Stuttgart area of Germany and have it checked to make sure it is of 1973 vintage by sprectro analysis....I don't think the month is that important though.
yes it does make a difference, obviously not at local or even some regionals,
but if the C of A says pirelli or michelin you'd better have those on your car,
and the correct sizes too...........

Good luck the 185/70/15 is impossible to find. Other than where you have already looked, they have Cinturato's here, but they dont make the 215/60/15 you need for the back. Page Title
I think that your only other option is a set of 30 y/o tires. How much driving do you plan on doing? If you want an set of old Cinturato CN36's I have a set.
