Spark plug gap

Guys,
Quick question, what's the recommended gap for a spark plug.
The spark plugs I bought have 0,8mm but Haynes recommends 0.5-0.6mm.
My car is a MFI 2.4E.
Thanks,
Ed

Try .8mm, a pretty typical setting, and see how they work.
