different rocker arms
So I adjusted my clakkety valves last night. This was the first time I did this on the car, as the noise was getting to me, and I knew it deserved the adjustment. To my surprise, I found two distinctly different types of rocker arms: one type was smooth where the "elephant foot" treads, and the other was ribbed. I can't remember the placement of each type, but it was not in an obvious organization. Does this mean someone has rebuilt it? cheap dreamweaver I'm guessing yes, and should I be afraid? I'm also guessing yes The owner I bought the car from didn't even know that it was an ROW, or that it had oil tensioner upgrades, turbo bottom valve covers, pop-valve for CIS intake thingy, etc. Someone loved this car, but the PO I got it from knew nothing about this car. My main question is, what else should I be looking into in terms of "was it done correctly"? Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for any help.
