Rear window install, anyone did one themselves
I bought the OEM rear window seal from our wonderful host. I am going to have someone install it for a measly $75. Looks like a royal pain to install due to the defroster wires I know there are people here that can do it blind folded and in ten minutes.
Now the seal has no holes for the wires. Is that a big deal for the installer to make. ![]() ![]() |

Make sure to clean up that rust before you put the new seal in.

I did this with a targa top seal. Use the original as a guide and replicate the holes and notches. Nothing fancy about it - just the fear of effing it up and molesting a brand new part.
Edit - sorry - did not see you had it finished. Last edited by Bob Kontak; 11-27-2010 at 12:33 PM.. |
