Ok..I give up. How do these go?

Ok, I ordered these and I just cant figure out exactly how they go on the tub/Trans. The car is a 70 and the trans is a 915. Does anyone have any pix of how they go? TIA!

The one on the left seems to be the cover for the reverse switch on the tranny.
I am not 100% because mine is an SC, but the tranny is the same.

Thanks. It Def isnt for the reverse switch. That one already has a boot. Plus the pictures are deceiving. The one on the left is about 2 1?2" and the one on the right is about 3".

I think these are later boots that supersede the 1970 originals.

The boot on the left goes on the chassis at the rear of the tunnel and goes over the shifter and part of the transmission nose piece.

The boot on the right goes inside the tunnel over the shift rod.

Best,
Grady

Dave, it is going in either Friday or Sat. I just need to get the bearings in my rear arms and as soon as I get them on the motor goes in! Come on up! Give me a call this week.
PS, note the new 915 with limited slip
