need help with O2 sensor harness

I am installing a 1980 engine into a 1979 sc. The engine came with a wiring harness and an ecm. While I was tearing down the engine, in order to replace the broken head studs, I decided to completely rebuild the engine. Now, I am getting ready to install the engine in the car and I need to run the harness for the O2 sensor control unit.

What I'd like to know is how the sub harness for the ecm is routed into the cabin under the passenger seat. Is there a separate hole or is it routed with the main harness through the tunnel? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Bob! I see the harness running alongside the tunnel. Can you lift the carpet to the left and show where the harness comes in? I am guessing it comes out of the tunnel.

I'll get under the car if a few and post another.

Wire harness exits passenger cab where my index finger is pointing (touching actually). Takes a turn towards the drivers side above the transmission then follows the fuel lines and booster hose up to the engine compartment.

Is there just a hole with grommet under the insulation where it exits? here is a picture of what my floor looks like.

I will wait to see underside.

I believe so. No fancy ports or anything like that (it is the only thing going thru the hole). I would have to rip the insulation off to tell for sure and the underside viewing is tough with the trans in place.

Can you get under the car and eyeball the body above the center tunnel and just to the passenger side of the shifter exit point?

I checked under the car and there isn't any hole in that location. I have decided to drill a small hole, install a grommet, run the harness through it and use a little seam sealer. Thank you very much for the info.
