915 reverse light switch
I have a question about the switch contact in the 915 reverse light transmission switch.
I had it on the bench and continuity will only kick in when the internal switch is bottomed out with the pin. There is less than a quarter inch of travel in the spring. Seems to me that that 1/8-1/4 travel would provide a range that the contact can be made vs just at the full extension of travel. |

What's the question?

On a properly operating reverse light switch is contact (continuity between the switch terminals) made across the full range of the switch spring travel (or some portion of that range) vs. only when the switch bottoms out?
