Lets play name these parts
While inside the drivers side door to adjust my window stop I found these two parts in the bottom of the door. Looked around to see where they go, but can't figure it out. Anyone seen these before?

The right one looks like the spring stop retainer for the winder mechanism.

Thanks for the info that will help. My next question is do I need it? Both windows on the car work fine, should I be concerned. PS, when I took the passenger door panel off I found another of those white plastic pieces in that side.

most likely a PO repaired it but did not clean the broken parts out - see if you can look to make sure the spring is secure with a part like that in the center & not just hanging by accident w/o having come loose
if ok, toss it in the metals recycling; clean the door out carefully; look for rust; clean out the weep holes; lube the moving parts & replace the liner then button it back up |

10-4, I was pleasantly surprised/relieved to find the door bottoms rust free and the drains were wide open. I'll be driving the wheels of her next season. I've owned her since August, but I managed about 1500 miles so far.

Don't recognize the plastic/nylon piece but the spring stop, holder, whatever it's called needs replacing. The OEM were aluminum & one trick to sort of fix it was to take it out & rotate it 180 degrees. It would be OK for awhile longer usually if you did that. The new replacements are steel which might last forever more. It's a pretty easy replacment.

The part on the left has fallen off the window regulator and the fork is usually engaged with the spring

Turns out that the bottom stops on both windows are broken which is why the plastic stop that they retain were lying in the bottom of the doors. Looks like another $30 to Pelican.

Both of the spring stops are broken on my car. There is a coil spring that helps the motor lift the window. Without that stop your motors will have work harder to lift the window. I tend to help the window come up to save the motor. I think your windows will come up faster and the motors will last linger if you replace the parts.

I found those in my doors as well. After a few years, I replaced both of my missing spring retainers with a 1/4" 20 stud ground flat with two nuts cranked down tight so the spring would rest against it. My windows used to rattle when they weren't fully up or down... with the force of that spring, they no longer rattle. You can ignore it, and get away with it, but I think it's worth it to fix them when you are in the door for some other reason....

How big a deal is it to get the regulator out? I was in the door with a lighted inspection mirror and couldn't see the spring. Both windows raise and lower at what I think is a normal speed and don't seam to be straining. I think that it's possible that the regulator was replaced because it was obvious someone had been in the door before because the vapor barrier had been taped back in place.

It IS possible to see the spring and the location for the broken part. Maybe your regulators have been repaired or replaced and they just left the broken part in the bottom of the door. In my case, I heard the part drop to the bottom when raising my window.
Supposedly, removing and replacing the regulator is not very difficult. I have not yet tackled it.
