I can testify that the retrofit source people are good people and very helpful that is where I got my kit from and it worked great.

Great info, and the suppliers look like they are really helpful with the installation and have all the relays/wiring you would need. I'm going this route on my RSR road car.

And that one projector does both high and low beam, yes?

Got it, it's the "bi" thing that is key..:D

very small update, sorry

i ordered the wrong bulbs, and was sent the wrong harness, so waiting on correct parts,..

i had some paint problems with primer sticking to the actual reflector, so i had to strip them all down and start over,..

but i did get the housings painted, new seals, new lens installed, the housings are painted a dark metallic grey color, hard to tell from the pics

Jim - great work; keep posting your pics.

GaryR - Yes the BiXenon projectors do both hi and lo beams. The bulb has only one output but the high beam signal powers a small motor in the projector which moves a masking shutter inside the projector to provide the correct light output. Some of the newer projectors even have auto leveling sensors to adjust the beam for different loads and ride heights.

well had a change in plans, i guess i shoulda listened to that measure 40 times thing...i did not work in the extra inch for the bulb and socket, grrrr and was about a inch short on the passenger side with the oil cooler...:mad::mad:

anyway, got a set of new shrouds and re mounted the projector inside the old housing

had to trim A LOT of the shroud to get it to fit the projector, since these were not meant to fit together

The one light projector looks great, good job. But how do you aim it, does the piece it attaches to swivel?

As he uses the original bezel I would have to assume the adjusters still work the same way (as long as the HID is mounted square). Is that correct?
