Curious as to which engine oil everyone uses and why?

Mobil 1 15-50, It's worked for me for 35 years.

Currently, Valvoline VR1 20w50. But I think I'm going back to the Harley Davidson 20w50. Engine seemed to run cooler and less noisy with less smoke(valve guides need attention)

vr1 20w50. it's available locally, decently priced and specs out to the needs of my engine (zddp).
