Lit light and fog switch pulls?
I'd love to have some more light in the cabin. I've gone to new gauge bulbs, but I could use a bit more.
Specifically, one of the features I appreciate in modern cars are the illuminated window switches, as well as the pull switches for the headlights and fog lamps. Does anyone know of a way to illuminate the door mounted window switches and dash-mounted headlight and fog lamp pull switches? CATTMAN

You could use "el wire" like a bead that can totally illuminate any area you wish but that will kill your Concours look. my 2 cents.
Nope, I do not have the Disco Effects ![]() ![]()

Your fog light switch should be lighted; the bulb is probably just burned out. You can pull out the plastic icon thing in the "handle" part by gently prying the rubber away and popping the plastic centre out with a small screw driver. The bulb just pulls straight out if I remember correctly. Pick up a replacement at your FLAPS.
You're out of luck with the headlight switch, unless you fab up something custom. Same with the window switches. Not the best pic, but you can see they're lighted. They also get brighter when switched on. ![]()

Thanks, Kevin!
I had incorrectly assumed that it was unlit, a the headlamp switch. Odd that they are not BOTH lit, isn't it? I pulled the cap off of the lighter, and there is no bulb behind it, so I assume it, too, is unlit- is that correct? My car does not have the European rear fog lamp, but I may want to install the illuminated switch if only to provide more interior dash illumination- without even installing the rear fog itself! my 83Sc does not have the rear fog but both my fog and defrost knobs light up when the lights are on, brighter once they are actually being used. the cig lighter does not light up.

His car won't have the defrost knob, I think. It should have the defrost button in the console like mine (again, not the best illustration of the lighting in the button):
