Most likely you have some corrosion between the fuse block and the headlamp.
Remove the fuse and burnish the fuse holder contacts and fuse ends. See if that works. If not, remove the wires from the fuse block and burnish the wire and the area where the wire is attached. Check the headlamp connector to be sure you have no corrosion there as well. If it was your switch, both lights would not work. Power goes from the battery, to the headlamp switch on your dash board, to the flasher stalk switch and then to your fuse block. The lamp circuits separate into left and right lamps at the fuse block.

Hi Steve,
It depends on your year, which one it would be. You can look at the electrical drawings here: Pelican Parts - Porsche 911 Parts Listings & Diagrams I would try the one closest to your year.

Pete,
This is for our '86, but should work for you. Good luck, Gerry ![]()

My right low beam was out, but brights worked. I cleaned the fuse contacts and works like a charm now.

just a little fuse bock maint.
pull the wires out, one at a time, clean the ends with wires brush then clean the screw and the the end of the screw. corrosion creates resistance which ='s voltage which ='s heat. at the very least, make sure all the screws are tight.
