Adding Idle control valve?

When I supercharged my car, I removed the aux air regulator, aux air valve, and decel valve. Now I appreciate the purpose of some of these items and would like to be able to increase the idle during cold and initial warm starts. I am considering adding an idle control valve across the throttle body, where the decel valve was connected. I'm thinking a Bosch one like from a Volvo is less expensive. does anyone know what is the hose id for the Porsche ICV? The hoses for the decel valve are 10mm and it would be great if I didn't have to use an adapter.

The purpose again is not to use it to regulate the idle as much as an on-off switch for initial warm-up or initial start.

The other option I've heard is to use a throttle lever as in the mid 70's SC. Any comments or suggestions on the ICV idea?
