decel valve replacement question

Anyone got a picture of how a 1979 decel valve is mounted? Its the one up and to the left behind the boot. Looking to see what else might be connected to the mounting point or if that is the only thing. I think I can get at it with a partial engine drop but with my luck there is a lot of other stuff in the way.

David,

You can replace the decel valve without doing any partial drop. There is enough room to get to it. Remove the CIS throttle body rubber boot to make room. As you can see from the picture, it is still accessible even with the engine installed in the car. HTH.
