Short shift kit
Does anyone know if an 84' 911 comes from the factory with a short shift, or was that only on the later models (87-89)?

It was an option for 84.
The 87-89 911 gearbox is the G50, a totally different setup.

my '84 did not come with one, but I added a factory kit and was very happy with the change.

Yeah, I know my 88' had one and it was nice.
So it was an option, where might I find the option code for that?
