1980 911sc smokes alot after jacking

so i baught a project porsche that was hit in the front left and it had an aftermarket alarm and stereo. after ripping it all out, and removed the left overs from the smashed battery i decided to get it to run. long storry short i got it to run, and tried to drive it and couldnt get it in gear, makes sence since the impact shortened the cable travel about half an inch. jacked the car up to adjust the clutch cable, had it lifted about a foot and half 18 inches on the left side. put it down, and tried to start and no go. it crancks, has fuel but no spark. back the to the ignition issue. wiggeled the wires and it started. and IT SMOKED ALLLLLOT. AT first it spottered, then smoothed out but the smoke wouldnt let up I shut it donw after a minut before pissing off the neighbors.

ok question #1 will jacking the car at angle cause the oil to go places notsupposed tp? and to did flood it enough for it to smoke that hard and long?

thanks in advance

Rex

your a brave man to try and drive that in that shape ......

how badly bent is it ???? and you said you pulled the radio and alarm but what is all the yellow running around ?? extension cord ??

I would look and see if the body is OK before trying to drive it .... if its not then work on the engine and start partin out ..............

how long did it sit before it was started?

if it was a while, you may want to add some fuel conditioner/ sea foam to get the moisture out of the fuel.

another thought, how did it get into? if joy riden, maybe the driver over reved or maintained it high rpms before slamming into something. blown heads/motor. geez i hope not.

and no, jacking it that way will not cause oil to blow out unless the oil was over filled then it would smoke even without jacking it up.
