alone in the garage, late at night, bored. a rattle can and an extra pair of lenses. no good can come of this. I'll post a couple of daylight pics tomorrow. please be gentle with your comments, it was very late and I had nobody to talk me out of it. Don.

Don,

As a fellow Canadian, let me be the first to say,"That looks pretty Ricey."

Do you ever do the run through 6 to the cable ferry at Arrow Lake? I came through there this summer in a rental, wishing I had my old E almost every mile.

Really enjoyed the Italian Kitchen in Vernon.

Keep well.

Insert phillips head screwdriver

Turn counter clockwise

Remove lense assembly, replace with original

Installation is reverse of removal

Wow, such reactions.

I guess you need to put the real reproduction Type-R trailer-lights on -- else you look like a poser.

That´s Pelican for you. You always get a straight answer. No pussying around.

Or as we say in Sweden: 'Like a cat around a hot bowl of porridge'. Darn, that is a stupid expression, particularly in English.

well, my wife saw them this morning and started the dry heaves. even my 12 year old daughter felt free to express her disgust. her estimation of her father's taste just went down a couple of notches. I wouldn't have thought that possible. in the cold light of day, maybe not so cool after all. thank you all for your (brutal) honesty. my wife thanks you as well.

FS- civic-look 911 taillights, be the envy of every 18 year old in your neighborhood! offers? any offers?

actually the paint wipes off with solvent so no permanent harm done except to my ego. seriously, it seemed like a good idea last night, or rather, early this morning. later this morning I wonder what I was thinking. maybe it's a jekyll and hyde thing, at midnight I turn into a ricer. Don.

I commend you for being creative and not being afraid to experiment. Sadly, not all attempts are successful.

So, what do women's boots and steering wheels have in common?

just had a great/funny idea. there's another pelican in our small town. I'll paint the lenses to match his car, then go over at night (apparently when I do my best work) and screw them onto his car! and while I'm there I'll bolt a three tiered wing to his decklid, and tape a coffee can onto his exhaust pipe.

in fact why don't some of you guys do the same to your friends. oh, what fun we'll have!
