Post can't be bled by trad. means?

a guy on rennlist posted that 964 calipers cannot be bled by traditional means. is he right? how do you bleed them? i am going to be doing a brake job and was going to bleed the system at that time.

why can't they be bled? has anyone tried it?

i want to get that 10 year old brake fluid out.

There was a thread just recently about this. It's because of the ABS. I believe you have to have a piece of equipment referred to as a "Bosch Hammer" to get the ABS computer in the correct mode.

Search the archives for "Bosch Hammer"

Use a pressure bleeder or vacuum type bleeder and all will be well.
