In the process of replacing the trailing arm bushings (to the frame) with Weltmeister Poly bushings, I have an unusual amount of clearance between the bushing faces and the attachment points to the frame. The trailing arm fits in their very sloppy. I thought these would come with metal spacers to take up the room but am getting alot of silence from the PP rep on the phone.
I don't want to squeeze the attachments points together, any suggestions without spending a ton on monoballs?

It doesn't sound like they sent you the correct bushings ...
Send them back for a refund and get the Neatrix bushings, which have none of the drawbacks of polyurethane!

I think the Neatrix bushings are just for the spring plate, not the trailing arms.

Sounds like you have the wrong bushings. The replacement bushings should have a flange that remains outside the control arm. The thickness of the flanges makes up for the old rubber/washer bushing.
Look in PP parts section and select the rear control arm bushings: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/por_911M_suspen_main.htm I replaced with Weltmeister bushings that did not use any washers but yours may be different. Should be a snug fit though. You will not be able to keep the alignment if the arms move.

This happened to my 89 when i installed an adjustable spring plate. There was about a 5mm gap between the inner and outer plates. I ordered one extra outer bushing and then cut it to the correct width. You need to bevel the outer portion to fit flush against the springplate arms welds. The problem is they didn't make the bushing long enough and may have not change these for the G50 cars. I think your car will be ok without them but I didn't want to take any chances.

I got a call last night from Thomas at PP who sent out another set of bushings for me. The problem I am having is were the trailing arm attaches to the chassis, not the spring plates. The link Dug posted are the bushings I should have received, instead I got four poly inserts that don't take up enough space...causing much slop in the assembly(NO GOOD).
Hopefully this will rectify the situation, after removing all the hardware, engine and transmission....this is my first stumbling block.

PP part number PB-008PN.
Tom had me specify the part number "PB-008PN" for the set of four Neatrix bushings for the trailing arm.
