Sounds incredible!! Looks like you're gonna have a lot of fun with it:D

ratpiper71T 02-17-2011 09:05 PM

Dude, that rev'd so high I was about to duck behind my sofa. Incredible sound!

Superman 02-17-2011 09:21 PM

I think you should bring this car to the tubbing party:

I promise we won't cut it up. Think of the possibilities. Beer, sawzalls, acetylene, fast cars and beer.

Superman 02-17-2011 09:24 PM

Oh, and as I've said before........nonmetallic grey lightweight early car with RSR flares and this engine.....simply the perfect car. IMHO.

Jeff Alton 02-17-2011 09:44 PM

Love it!!!!!

Craig_D 02-17-2011 10:01 PM

Wow! Incredible all the way around!!

James Brown 02-17-2011 10:53 PM

drcoastline 02-18-2011 04:41 AM

Wow what a beautiful sound. I love it.

truely awsome. I was actually a bit scared listening at peek revs,,,, I hope you double checked those tie downs!!!, now that would be a video..

Zuluracerx 02-18-2011 05:41 AM

Sounds like a great time, but the RSR goes back to the bodyshop to get it 100%. Next the lightweight seats go in (there is a single temp boat anchor seat in there now). Both RSR seats are lighter than the single temporary. We are making some custom door cards and other final touches. Very pleased, yesterday was a good day! Make sure to post pics of the party!

Yeah, it did not like being tied down - it wanted to launch! The microphone did not stand a chance at those sound levels...it's a shriek.

I think you could recover your build costs by taking guys for a ride in this car, and charging a fee. Wonderful project.

Zuluracerx 02-18-2011 08:38 PM

I'm leaning toward no side script. What's the concensus?

jmitro 02-19-2011 05:23 AM

wow, that's badass. nice work.

i kinda like the sidescript, but that's just my preference. :)

motley911 02-19-2011 06:05 AM

That sounds awesome. What is the throttle response like?

I am also a fan of the side script (it looks period)- although on a darker colored car I think it would look better if it was a subtle difference in color.

Keep us posted,
Richard.

Keep her naked

Zuluracerx 02-19-2011 07:22 AM

Yes, I think so too Reaper. I am also leaning toward no hood badge, no nothing just all business.

kramer747 02-19-2011 07:27 AM

what's up with the flames coming out? How does that happen?!!
