Easiest path for AFR gauge wiring?

Could someone suggest the easiest path to run the wires from a WBO2 sensor up to the dash? I'm slowly learning the ins and outs of my '87 930, which has an immaculate interior, and I thought I'd ask the experts before haphazardly pulling out interior bits.

I would run the wire down the main harness line routing from the engine (driver's side) down towards where the transmission shifting shaft enters the passenger cab. I would have the wires enter the car through one of the wire ports in that center tunnel where your shift coupler is. Access the shift coupler area through the cover on the "hump" between the seats. Snake it up to the front under the edge of the center tunnel carpet if not glued down and run it all the way to the front "firewall" and go up into the dash from behind the center counsel.

This info is based on me running the wire for a cylinder head temp sensor I had installed on my SC. That is my total experience with hiding wires "cleanly" - so best wait for some more input.

Where you going to put the gauge?

A PO put in a boost gauge in the clock hole, but it does't work well. I'm going to put it there.

Now I just have to decide on the right one. I'm leaning toward the Innovate MTX-L. Not sure of the diameter, so I may have to trim it.

It's an NHS. The needle moves very slowly and never goes over .5 bar. With 354 RWHP on the dyno, I don't think .5 is accurate

The stock boost gauge is just the opposite. It flies up to max almost the instant the turbo spools up. Since the wastegate has a .8 bar spring, I'd say that one isn't accurate either.

Honestly, I'm still feeling things out with this car, as I've only had it for a few months, and it's been stored except for the drive from FL to IA. Spring is near! I've had great conversations with the last two POs, but the invoices are thin, so I have to go by what they've told me. From what I know and have been told, I have 98mm P/C, B&B headers/exhaust, blueprinted k-29 turbo and Powerhaus I/C.

I'm a 911 rookie but learning fast thanks to Pelicans and greasy fingers. My mission is to research and nail down what's in the engine for my own piece of mind. Whether or not I'm successful, one thing I know is that the car hits you like a jack-hammer at 3.5k and is rock solid.

Well, if you want to unload the NHS gauge I might be interested if the price is right.
