3/4 operating sleeve, can this be filed?

i just got this off evilbay. kind of worried that it might cause grinding. Can you guys tell if these are too far gone or can they be filed? One side is good, but the one in the pictures is in question.

the inner flat area on the teeth that first contacts the syncro look pretty worn. they are about 1/8" wide when new, looking from the tip of the tooth and inward. as the sleeve rubs on the syncro surface over time, that area gets longer looking and the sleeve contacts the syncro deeper, higher and closer to the teeth on the gear. post a clear, well lit picture of the inside of the sleeve.

Lay the slider on white paper to take the photo. To photograph shinny objects you need to reflect white off the surface. Then john can see the details better.

Thanks for taking a look John. I searched and read other posts that you've responded too. Glad to see an expert is taking a look at this. I cleaned up the slider better and tried to get some better pictures with light.

See post #3, this thread. The wear on that part is excessive. Pictures #7 & #8 (post#5) clearly show damage to the teeth (metal rolled over at tooth sides/edges).

Please spend some of the afternoon reading...
