I think you have answered your own question.

The PCA Mart is for members only. Membership is only $46/year.

You get the benefit of participating in events, some discounts, Monthly Panorama magazine, plus your regional monthly magazine, monthly meetings at nice Porsche shops, and a free window sticker

The real bargain is the cost of a DE at lime Rock and WGI. CVR charges 2/3 of the local Track-Day businesses. More days, less money.

It appears you can browse the regional PCA "marts" without membership.

And, if you can't find a Porsche after searching all these links, then I don't know what to tell you:

Join PCA. Just the monthly magazine Panorama is worth the price of membership.

The mart is good, but with so many alternatives it's not as necessary as years ago. Very few people would post only on the mart because the audience is limited. Autotrader, Autotrader Classics, Rennlist, Craigslist and here give you pretty good coverage.

Try the classified ads in Excellence magazine and of course Hemmings. That's where I started looking for my first Porsche 16 years ago, though I ended up buying it from a classified ad in the local paper. And I recently sold a Cayman via Craigslist to a 101% honest, straight-up international buyer.

Yeah, I don't think you can join PCA without a car. I really like Panorama, along with the various tech sessions that are put on in my region. It's a great club to join for the money.

You just have to provide a VIN#....as to the PCA ads, nothing unique in there and they are all mirrored in the regional PCA Marts...
