Heater Fan Plug Modification
Hello:
Just received my new Heater Fan Motor(engine compartment) for my 1984 Targa. To modify the plug, do I connect Orange to Orange, and the Yellow/Black to the white wires? Thanks so much.

Yes, except those are brown, not orange.

I actually thought the same thing just as I posted the question. Thank you so much for the quick reply. Oh, should I solder the wires, or could I get away with a splice?

The OEM connector easily comes apart then re-solder
 .Take note where the wires mount on the fan housing, the new motor does not have a slot for it. But works perfectly. Just replaced mine.
