Thanks; looks better in "real life", even the seal actually lies there better than it appears. One thing for sure, as they are "spinners" after one application, those speed nuts really are "meant to be used only once". I think the car runs better now!

here's my early car tribute to........

That is a very nice early hood crest..............and I have to say that it is a nice touch. I like that you left it, as is...with a little old style patina. I did the same on my 71E, which was restored to perfection, except for a little touch here and there..like the hood crest, which i left in its original condition..patina up the kazoo,. On my 73X however, there is a different approach to the lightweight hood crest................matching ornamentation in the back...........
