Thumbs up Wevo Shifter

Installed a Wevo in my SC this afternoon. Easy install. Hardest part was cleaning the old shifter housing. Truly a transformational upgrade for my shifter. The difference is hard to believe, all the more so since the old shifter and shift rod bushings were still serviceable. This has to rank for me as the single best upgrade yet.

Congrats!!!

My master plan tis year is to get my SC back on the road - nothing major "wrong" with it.. just been sitting in the garage too long..

Likewise > I'm eyeing the wevo shifter and wevo engine and transmission mounts..

My best mod so far is SSIs and M&K exhaust>> SWEET!!!

Congrats on the upgrade, I really want one of these but am having a hard time justifying the $$$. I'm going the new mounts/bushings/fluid route first and see what that does for me. To me, the most attractive thing about the Wevo and others is the spring loading to the 3-4 position. Its really strange to me to have a shifter that doesn't have that characteristic. Of course, I'm new to the 915 so maybe I'll get used to it. Just curious, have you had the car or another 915 equipped car for long?

P.S. Where in central VA are you. I lived in Charlottesville for 6 years. Beautiful part of the country, still miss it.

I bought the car about two years ago. Once I accustomed myself to the 915s ways shifting was easy enough, but was something that, for me, always required deliberate action, unlike my other cars. Based only on forty-five minutes of driving my favorite back roads around here this afternoon I would say that two thumbs up for the Wevo.

I am in Fluvanna County. Nice area, great roads, not yet overpopulated.
