quick question on install of new struts
1982 sc with bilsteins. Received the new inserts and the directions that came with them say to use molyb-denum grease in-between the sliding bearings. My question...where is the location of the sliding bearings.

Remove the old inserts from the struts. Then peer into the struts, you will see two linear bearings. One near the top, the other about 8 inches down. The outer surface of the inserts rides against these.
