Interesting(?) Engine Number...
Well, it is interesting to me because I can't find anything in my reference books about it
![]() Engine # = 6520824 Engine typ = 911/57 LHS case = .5R RHS case = .4R I guess it is the "5" in the engine # that is throwing me off, I understand the rest. 911/57 is a 72/73 911TV-E carb'ed motor type for the manual tranny and I know having .5R & .4R case halves in the same motor is not uncommon. Any help would be appreciated ![]() Thanks!

That is interesting since I have engine # 6520935 listed with 901.101.101.4R & 901.101.102.3R cases. Must have been a transition period.

That's it? The "5" just meant Euro "T"? Guess I can call it a day as I already learned something new. Need to get a "book" that covers Euro stuff, I guess
![]() Always curious... does that "TV-E" imply 911T, carbed, Euro? I see it now and again in literature but never focused on it too much... Thanks,
