Desperately need this screw

I just learned that the reason my sunroof motor is not bulling the wires is because Iīm missing the screw on the photo with the blue circle.

I canīt find any online shops that carry it, nor does my local Porsche dealer. Does anyone know where I can get it or if it can be hacked to work without it?

Glenn

That screw is removed to install the mechanical handle, must be to overide the motor when installed. It ll be metric, 4, 5, or 6 mm, should find something sutable at the hardware store. Now, if thats not it, I have seen the rubber connector so shot that it wont work.\

Manual Opening?

I agree with Bruce that that screw is removed in order to use the manual handle. What I do not understand is how it would prevent the sunroof from opening. Does it disconnect the gear train somehow? Have you tried to open the roof with the handle?

The screw acts like a clutch.
With the screw out, you can turn the input shaft and
the output shaft will turn but, any resistance will cause
it to stop turning.
With the screw in, the output shaft will turn even with
heavy resistance.

In case you didn't already know it:
You need a thin shim that goes around the shoulder and
a standard lock washer the goes under the shoulder (between
the shoulder and the end of the shaft it screws into).

@Glen.
Not sure I understand.. I have a small shin that goes between the case and the big gear. And I have a shim that locks the small gear to the top of the shaft that goes into the gear wires....

Now my shims are two different thickness. It looks like they do this to adjust the clutch in the drive mech maybe?

And maybe it is to prevent the clutch/screw to be tightened to much..?
