I had one when I purchased the car several years back.
![]() I remember lifting the alarm up from it's mounting point and cutting the myriad of wires. It was like cutting hair - a little stupid on my part. Have to laugh now, but at the time it took me weeks to sort out getting the car to run again. Side benefit, I got to clean up the wiring and connections the PO worked on. I would suggest looking for installation wiring diagrams and then work back from there. Good luck.

It seems that this topic comes up now and again. Not long ago someone posted the wiring diagrams for the Ungo.
I had one on my 81 when I got it. The only problem I remember removing it was that a jumper wire on the fuse panel was removed and needed to be replaced. Sorry that I don't remember which terminals it jumped. |
