Distributor re-curving vacuume adive please
I just disassembled & cleaned my distributor and was pondering re-curving it since I am running carbs.
My question is what happens if I disconnect the vacuum arm from the Pulse Generator, will this allow the distributor to curve more? Just looking for other viable options rather than spending the $500 to have it done… My specs: 1980 sc Euro motor Stock CIS pistons & cams SSI with stock muffler Weber 40’s Thanks, Richard

So you will only be running on the internal flyweights. ok but having the dissy recurved will do more for performance than the webers and the SSI's. It is part of the whole package. Contact Berry Hershon and discuss it with him. IAE Inc.

Its sort of ironic that you responded to my post, your post back in 2009 when you moved to carbs is what motivated me on this project. Thanks for the reply, I will contact Berry.

Ed Fall in Sandy Utah, well known here, will do a superb job for a lot less; I paid less than $200 for an RS recurve two years ago.
