Leaking window seal fix?

I have an SC with the usual leaking windows. Unfortunately it has to be my daily driver for the summer which means I will have to drive it in the rain alot. I have no budget now for a new seal and not confident that a new seal would work anyway.

Im wondering if anyone has had any luck using something like caulk with a needle nose applicator to seal gap between the glass and the rubber seal.

What worries me about doing this is that the water might still get in somewhere along the seal and then get trapped behind the caulk and cause rust at the corners.

In the past, if I got caught in the rain, I would put it in the garage and use a leaf blower to blow out any water and then point a fan at the corners to dry them. I no longer have a garage. Also, a long drive on the highway would blow out alot of the water. If I seal it, the wind from driving or a blower/fan wont get behind the seal to move water out....

Is there a solution that works and if so, what did you do?

Thanks
