Part-Throttle Response ?
Sorry for such a simple question, but:
Is "part-throttle response" another way to say "while driving normally" or "not wide open throttle"? I was reading some Steve Wong chip reviews, and "part-throttle response" came up a few times. Thanks. |

I would say so.

Thanks. It seems appropriate; I wanted a reality check with folks who've been around this stuff longer than I have been.

From a tuner's perspective I think it means anything between idle and WOT. It might depend on the context it's being used in.

Part throttle is the type of driving you encounter when not tying to impress yourself or anybody else, where most normal well adjusted drivers spend 95% of their time.
