One or two holes. The idea is to position a "left leaning" part over a "right leaning" part so the built in error cancels instead of adding. It might work it might not.

Removed rotor from hub and although the mating surfaces were clean I managed to remove a very small amount of material that may have caused an issue. I then rotated by 2 holes and reassembled.

Back on the the spindle and the issue is still there. I contacted the mechanic who did the bearings for me and he said to take it to him to check the rotor and hub. He indicated that the hub may need machining.

Hope to get this 'simple' problem fixed soon!

Also take him the rotor, I am sure he re surfaces rotors and he can put it on the metal lathe and check to see if the disk is flat. Good luck. Steve

UPDATE - After a bit of a delay I got the hubs/rotors back from the mechanic. He'd sent them off for machining and noted that both sides (wheel and rotor mating surfaces) needed some work.

The only reason I can come up with about how they got that way in the first place is a result of the bead blasting process.

Anyway, I fitted them up and they run perfectly.

Thanks for the comments.
