Anyone interested in a group drive from LA to Rennsport Reunion?
I am planning to attend and I live in Newport. Thought it would be great to form a group drive up to Laguna Seca if anyone was interested. I know it is still very early, but I just wanted to gauge interest.
Also, this being the reunion weekend, should I be concerned at all about driving my 911 up and parking it in a hotel parking lot? I just ask as events like this have brought the car thieves out in droves in the past. I could always drive my Audi up, but that sort of defeats the reason to drive up in the first place. At that point, I may as well fly and rent. Thoughts? |

I was planning for the full 3 days and staying at a hotel. It is too good to pass up with it being so close. I do want to drive the 911 up, I just want to come home with her too. I likely will drive her though. What's the sense in having the car if you cannot take it to an event like this?

Probably one of the Marriott brands in Salinas by the track. There is a Residence Inn and Courtyard Inn there. I would like to attend the Porsche Race Car Classic on 10/16 at the Quail Lodge that weekend as well. Kind of expensive, but the money goes to a good cause. You should check that out too. It would be a shame to miss it if you are already in Monterrey.

Ok, paid for a room at the Hilton Garden Inn and paid for Saturday's ticket.
When are you guys planning on leaving? It will be nice to caravan up there  If we all got a Walky Talky we can monitor each other for road saftey  just a thought.
