Valve

According to our host these two parts are NLA.

Any thoughts on equivalent(s)?

Thanks in advance,

Gerry

Probably a one way check valve.

Help/Universal One-Way Vacuum Check Valve (47149) | Check Valve. Universal Type | AutoZone.com

If you go that route you will need to change out the hoses to fit.

Try calling Stoddard Porsche. They have a mail order department that specializes in older Porsches. I can't find the part on their website but they have found some unlisted parts for me. Tell them you are a PCA member for a discount.

Is that the decel valve? If so, not a required item except for smog. You can try Parts Heaven or call the BAR and they will give you a list of shops that specialize in smog stuff.

The alternative is blocking the line and disableing it.

Question, does this valve have any moving parts?

Is this what we used to call a breather valve?

Thanks again.

The decel valve slows the throttle closing on decel and limitting excess hydrocarbons. Blipping the throttle is a bad thing in CA.....

They don't test its effectiveness at smog check time but they look for it.

Gerry,

Call your local Porsche dealer with the part numbers, they will be able to get them for you. FYI, I have an extra "sleeve" (part #34 on your chart) that I'll ship to you gratis. I'm sure you'll pay it forward in spades. Just PM me to let me know if you want it.
