should i have an o2 sensor ?

Firstly Hi to all, im now the proud owner of my first 911 !. ( shes a 1988 3.2 targa )
Im just getting a few things done to make her 100%
On inspection i have noticed that there is a location on the exhaust bypass section which looks like it should house an o2 sensor of some description, being a uk car there is no catalytic convertor fitted, but being electronic fuel injection im thinking it should have one ?

thumbs up to a great forum packed with useful information !

Welcome to the forum. I see you have found what a great asset it is. I too have an 88 3.2 Targa, but with US specs. I installed an M&K premuffler and it has the bung for the O2 sensor.
I can't speak to the euro spec cars. I'm sure someone in the know will post soon. Post some
pics of your ride when you get a chance.
