Need help identifying these fikse wheel offsets/fitment
I am about to pick up this set of wheels from a guy a few hours away but I definitely need a little help identifying the offsets and fitment as the seller has no clue what car it came off of other than being a "2000's Porsche". He got them from a guy who wrecked his car about 6 months ago as payment for work done and now he has no use for them and I'm getting them for $650. I know thats a good deal for fikses(I believe these to be FM5's) so regardless of fitment I am going to pick them up and figure out what theyll fit on. The only thing the seller has been able to confirm is that they are 18X11 rear and 18X9 front. I tried to ask him to read the offsets on the inner wheel but he said he saw no markings. He sent one pic of each wheel but in the pic the wheel doesnt look to have any lip at all which I wouldnt expect from an 11" rear wheel. the 9" almost looks to have the same lip. Here is a pic of the 11" wheel:
![]() Any idea where the markings are to tell the offsets on these wheels and also why the wheel has no lip for being 11"?? Thanks for any help! I have 2 911s(91 and 74 with SC flares) and i dont think theyll fit anything i own so maybe i'll pass the deal onto someone who can use them |

Nice price!
Those are indeed FM5 of Profil 5, can't tell from the pic, however the spoke pattern is the same. Fikse, and most aftermarket wheel manufactures, do not stamp the offset on the wheels. Each wheel is custom. The ones you are purchasing do not have much lip because they are for a later model car that runs high offsets. Having sold a ton of these wheels, based on the "2000 Porsche", the widths and lack of lip on the rear, here is my guess to what you have bought. 18x9.0 et44 or 51 18x11.0 et 64 If the rear had a bit more lip I would say it could be an et38 from a 996TT. To run these on an early car will require the uses of some big spacers. IF they are straight and true, you could easily flip them and double your money and put it towards a set that will fit your car perfectly. Regardless, when you get them, measure the total width of the wheel (the front should measure just under 10.0" lip to lip and the rear just under 12.0" lip to lip) them place a straight edge across the inner lip and measure down into the hub pad. From that I can show you how to calculate offset. Cheers

Great advice, thank you! I have been able to find out that the wheels came off a 2006 Carrera although he's not sure if it is turbo fitment or not.
These definitely wont fit my 91 or 74 so it looks like unless I get a 996 or 997 to enjoy these wheels with they're going to the classifieds ![]() |

Actually there are all kinds of inner and outer barrels for sale on this forum as well as Ebay so you could put together your own offset and make those wheels fit nicely on any car of your choice.
For the price you are getting those wheels for,i would jump on them and make them fit ... Cheers! Phil

Well they are in the truck on the way home! These are definitely not 18x11 18x9. They are looking more like 18x10 18x8 but I will double check when I get home! I wonder if these might fit a 91..... Hmmmmm

Be careful when buying used rim shells. Fikse had two bolt patterns for the 18 inch wheels. Also, ensure the parts you buy are true and not out of round.
Cheers
