Performance Aire underbody condensor and dash vent value
Anyone have an idea what the value is on a set of underdash A/C vents and the underbody A/C condensor are from Performance Aire?
I got these years ago and have not ever installed the condensor. The Dash Vent system is very nice but I am too tall for them as with my Recaro sport seat my legs barely brush them, so going back to stock with some mods. If anyone has an idea on what these are worth would appreciate it. Am about ready to put them on the "911 parts for sale" section but cannot do that without a price. I have tried to get ahold of Preformance Aire and they are still around but not doing anything in the A/C field, so no luck there. These are some of the last there will be available it seems. Thx, Joe A

Costly to install and subject to road debris. Better/easier/less costly to just add a couple of 12 volt radiator fans for additional and more consistent airflow through the engine lid mounted condensor. |

Sorry WW, but totally disagree and so do hundreds of others.
I tried the "12v fan on the engine condensor" years ago and there is simply no substitute for more or a larger condensor. You are in the Pacific NW, not Texas, Arizona or other really hot states. What works for you up there does not even get close to us down here in "the oven!"

Here is a photo of all three of the bits.
Top are the two "kneepad replacement" vents. Bottom is the underbody condensor. ![]() The condensor had mounts on each end then in 4-6 places in the middle. The fins are spread apart for the fasteners but no damage to the tubing that I can see.
