Post Carrera Chain Problems??????

A prospedtive customer of my 86 Carrera started telling me of how Carrera's of my age and mileage (95K) normally start experienceing Cam chain problems! ???
I have never heard anything like this on this site?.
I know SC's have the hydraulic chain tensioner upgrade but Carreras normally have this as standard!.
I told him the only thing Carrera's start experiencing around that age is worn valve guides and valves, and so may need a head job sooner or later!.
So as my chains are quiet I am not in the normal business of messing with them!.
Anyone ever heard anything about Carrera chain problems?.
rgds Ben

Yes the car is for sale, at what I concider a good price $21K asking- comments!
The excellence retail put a poor 86 cab at $19,900 and mine is way short of 'Poor'.
Anyhow, with the abscence of other comments and the fact that I have never heard of chain problems on any Carrera I feel this guy is just another 'tire kicker!'
Kinda guy that makes you wanna take the for sale sign off the car permanently!
